yesterday i bought some 30 x40 canvas and some more larger tubes of oil paints. i have two commissioned work to do... yes for money.. i am so excited about that. it's a new step into where i want to go. now i am finally feeling well enough to paint again.

my daughters last violin concert of the year was last night. she was given an award for most improved musician and one for an excellent rating at the solo ensemble festival. she wants to take private lessons this summer and try out for the chamber orchestra. she has only been playing her violin for a year. it is amazing how much she has progressed in such a short time.

lion and i still write each other. it has been 4 years. a very dear friendship that gives me a lot of comfort.

my yoshi is gone on to doggy heaven. his little white box of remains sits in a special place. they made some paw prints in clay for me that i painted and that hangs near his box and collar.
i do miss him very much.

i think i will go get paint on myself.
