it's snowing... snowed all night.... the schools are closed. it doesn't seem that bad. but they say there is a sheet of ice under the snow on most of the roads. they said last night it would stay the temp it was at midnight all day today.

yoshi's cough is awful this morning. very raspy... i might bring in a vaporizer to put some moisture in the air... but i think i will read up and see if that's the right thing to do for his condition.

it was one of those fairy nights... when the moon reflects on the snow and it looks like the world is glowing... one of my favorite things to see. i could sit and look at it for hours. everyone asleep .. the world still and peaceful. everything this pale yellow white... the snow glittering ... no tracks ...i almost expect fairies to come out and dance on the branches of the trees. maybe they do and i just can't see them... fawn used to could see them. dancing above our bed .... when she was sleeping with me after her dad (waterdragon) died. she would describe them in detail... i never questioned or doubted her. i just wished i could see them too. i swear once i saw a flutter of a shadow while she talked and waved her little hands above her head. i believe they came to comfort us.. mostly her... i can still hear her heart wrenching sobs and feel my shoulder wet with her tears.. you think at the time.. the grief will never end....... but somehow we go on and healing comes...
