i arrived back home last night. moms surgery went well and she seems to be doing fine. there will be news today about the pathology report. she looks a bit like frankinmother with a huge stitched neck. i believe they will start her thyroid meds this week sometime. depends on the pathology report. if she needs to do the radioactive iodine they will do that first.

yoshi survived the trip. he was better before we left here but sank down to another bad spell in the days before we came home.

i'll catch up on everyones diary sometime today. thanks for all the nice notes and emails.

i really need one of those dictation gadgets. i always have so many lines and thoughts running around in my head when i drive. it's not safe to scratch it down on a notepad while driving..gawd.... besides i can hardly read my own scratches.
