fawn is pretty miserable today with a cold. so we spent the afternoon in the living room her piled up on the couch in blankets and pillows..me in my grandfathers chair trying to knit. drinking hot choc and eating popcorn watching Narnia. as she piled up her blizzard of tissues. Yoshi begged for popcorn. he loves the stuff.. as soon as he smells it cooking he is dancing around. she loves this movie and that we watched it together.
we did have a lovely quite day mostly.. until.......................................
i had a fit with my knitting.. reaching a frustration point ..unraveled it all and tossed it across the room cursing..... very mature event... lol.. a big hole had appeared and seemed to keep getting bigger and bigger.. finally after debasing myself by tossing it.. i pouted a while and then went to the computer to find out wtf i did wrong... after some research i knew i had dropped a stitch... silly me i unraveled the whole thing not realizing that i could fix it with just
a crochet hook... so after feeling quite humbled ... i will begin again.
yes, I'm a very together and spiritual person every minute and never get out of sorts.

ahhh well

fawn is now piled up back in her bed watching that stupid movie "scary movie" i really loathe those sorts of flicks.. slice and dice whether funny or serious is just not my cup of tea. i hate that sort of blood and gore...this one is rated pg13 i let her watch those.. but shes not allowed to watch R.

now being the contradictory person i always am... i love science fiction.i could watch aliens in all its gore and unreality .. hiding my head when the scenes become too much.. but i love that stuff.. star wars and star trek aliens and the matrix. maybe its because i adore reading science fiction books.. just a funny quirk of mine i guess. .. I'm not a weird Trekkie type person.. i don't have a uniform hidden in my closet or watch reruns every night. I'm not that over the top on any stupid TV show. i find TV for the most part boring as hell. but movies.. well i do love movies. going to movies, renting movies.. old black and white movies.. foreign films in subtitles.. all of it mostly. except like i say horror flicks.. i just don't get into those.

we had a huge thunder storm this afternoon and lost power to the whole house at least 3 times.. i was at the computer writing when all of a sudden i hear this clash and everything dies.. i didn't even hear it coming on... i usually turn the computer off to protect it ... this time i didn't even have a chance.. it poured buckets and crashed and was quite dramatic... fawn and i standing at the front door looking outside .. then we turned around and there's Yoshi tail between his legs and three piles of shit all around him.... i said..Yoshi did it scare the shit out of you... and so we laughed till we were bent over.. as i cleaned up the mess.. Yoshi's eyes were big as saucers and his tongue as big as his head.. he is so scared of thunderstorms.. I've never seen a dog like that before.. i feel so bad for him ... but we teased him unmercifully about it and his poor tail was so far down between his legs he walked like it was up his butt... lordy lordy that was funny.. poor thing

well guess ill go back and begin again on my knitting project..a much more humble minet
