back from the vet with yoshi. he had a bad night lots of trouble breathing again. bottom line is he has congestive heart failure. they are adding another medication. if this medication works for him , he might have another year , if not maybe a few months. the xray of his heart shows it very enlarged. its pressing against his trachea which causes him to cough and gag.. his lungs have a lot of fluid. his liver is getting damaged too. poor baby is very sick. i will keep him with us as long as i can. make him as comfortable as possible. i won't let him suffer if it comes to that. i don't think ill tell fawn for a while. ill wait and see how this new medicine works. another hundred bucks on my credit card..more money for medicine i don't have either. i just hope its not too expensive. i don't care, ill spend what it takes to take care of him. i promised him i would.

im crying.. such a silly woman crying about a dog. i have to watch yet another loved one die, no he's not human, but i do love him... death is a part of life. i keep telling myself that. it doesn't make it any easier.
