dear lion,

we spent the afternoon playing at a place called joy rides..
the girls nixed the zoo idea.. but they had fun and thats all that matters.
so they road rides and ate pizza and played arcade games.
then when it started getting dark i took them up in the mountains to cave of the winds.
we sat on the side of the mountain and watched a laser light show done with music..
it was a cool night and the lights of the city were in the background..
i was disappointed.. expected pink floyd and led zep or at the least some beatles .. white album...but noooo
it was pop music and lots of patriotic yada yada...
oh im as patriotic as anyone..
but a laser show should be psychedelic man....
guess im just an old hippie.
the girls loved it...
and i enjoyed sitting in the dark on the mountain in the cool breeze looking at the city lights and the stars...
thinking all the while..
id love to be sitting with you in the dark wrapped in a blanket looking at the night sky...
